Train Media Group was founded in 2012 by filmmaker Clayton Tramel. Previous to founding TMG, Tramel spent eight years working for a Pipeline Construction company, of which his last two years were spent working in Pennsylvania during the time the Marcellus Shale boom drove high volume construction traffic to Pennsylvania roads. Working with townships as well as Penn-DOT provided Tramel the opportunity to mix his film training with documenting the roads his company would travel. His method of comparing pre and post construction images would soon revolutionize how damage claims were processed and change the way construction companies were held liable for damaged roads. The process has saved his clients Hundreds of Thousands of dollars on single projects alone, and Millions of dollars overall.

As various Pipeline Construction companies began utilizing TMG’s services, they became acquainted with founder Clayton Tramel’s Emmy Award winning film work as well, and began utilizing his vision to create films documenting their work. These films used at company meetings, marketing tools on social media, or to give to their clients bring a level of highlighting how special the work in their field is to a degree many have not seen before on screen.
